About Me

This blog is named in homage to my family, whom I adore. But most of all, I named it after my mother in law. I have always called her Mama. She calls my husband Schuey. That is how I came up with "Mama Schuey." ~Kerry, thank you for all that you do for me and our family. I appreciate and love you dearly.

Speaking of kids...

Kane, our oldest and my step-son, is 13.  He is a very bright, quick witted child, with a lot of enthusiasm and spirit. He is also very sensitive, observant, and loving. He is a good big brother. He loves to ride his bike around the neighborhood with his friends. He hates homework, chores, and eating his vegetables.
Lucy, our only daughter, just turned 4. She was the first child that God gave to me and Garth. We were so excited to welcome her into the world. She is amazing. She is smart, independent, stubborn, and extremely sassy. Garth says that she is "just like her mama." She loves to be creative and play dress up. She also loves her brothers. She surprises me and makes me laugh EVERYDAY.

Hudson, our baby, is 18mo old. He is the HAPPIEST child I have EVER met. He has the BEST smile. He loves to play with his big sister and big brother, and he is getting quicker and more clever everyday- so they better watch out! He reminds me of the innocence of children. He melts my heart and loves to give his mama kisses. If all of my children were as easy as him, I would have a whole litter. But. They are all very different. And exhausting. So. I think we are done making puppies. For now. At least.

I decided to start this blog to journal, and share, all of my feelings, fears, beliefs, and adventures in being a mom living in Wisconsin. We have friends and family all over the country. Starting this blog will hopefully close the huge gaps between these friends and family, and maybe even bring a few smiles, and hopefully a lot of laughs. This is a safe, honest, and sarcastic place. This space is for my loved ones, my friends, strangers, and moms across the world who need reminding that they are not alone in this insane thing we call life. But most importantly, I want this space to help chronicle the timeline of my children's lives. So I invite you to pull up a chair, join the fun, and follow me as I juggle my three kids, my family, and my life.

From Wisconsin, with love-
Amanda
